Rolling Through the Bay by Scott Weaver

Rolling through the bay is an abstract toothpick sculpture of San Francisco. It has about 100,000 of toothpicks. The amazing part, is that is has four ping pong ball paths that roll through different landmarks of San Francisco. I have spent about 3000 hours on it over a period of 34 years and the only glue I use is Elmer’s.

San Francisco 9’ tall x 7’ wide x 30” deepI have used different brands of toothpicks depending on what I am building. I also have many friends and family members that collect toothpicks in their travels for me. For example, some of the trees in Golden Gate Park are made from toothpicks from Kenya, Morocco, Spain, West Germany and Italy. The heart inside the Palace of Fine Arts is made out of toothpicks people threw at our wedding.

I really wanted the blue whale but it's too big. So actually, I wanted to buy the blue whale and the t-rex. They were too much money so I couldn't. Charlie buyed that whale. I want to look at that and I wanted that blue whale too. So sometime I want a blue whale. but I'm not sure if I can have the blue whale and that's all.

Scarlet likes her babies and she likes babies and she has so much babies and that's all I thinked about.

My Friend Reggie

Charlie got invited to Reggie's birthday. I like to have the kids make something for their friends instead of just buying whatever. That way they learn to think about the person and find something meaningful to bring to them. Reggie loves basketball so Charlie made this as part of his gift.  I thought he did such a great job.
